The A Grade (6 Sawn Sided) blocks are ideal for seating around fire pits or in yarning circles at schools as they have a smoother finish on them. They are great for projects that will see all sides of the blocks.

A Grade (5 Sawn Sided) Sandstone Blocks are cut using an excavator with a large wheel saw, and they are slightly more precise in their measurements compared to the B Grade (2-4 sawn sided) and 5 sawn sided sandstone blocks.

B Grade Premium (4-5 sawn sided) blocks are an excellent substitute for A Grade 5 and 6 sawn sided blocks. These blocks have 5 sawn sides and a rough back, which is an uncut side.

B Grade (2-4 Sawn Sided) blocks are the initial cut blocks in the quarry, they are the reject out of the cut blocks. They may have the most irregular shapes and measurements and can be angled and concave blocks. B Grade (2-4 sawn sided) blocks should have 2 opposite sides suitable for stacking and can still be used for retaining walls.

The number of blocks per truckload will depend on the truck’s tare weight and its maximum carrying capacity.
The rough back of sandstone blocks may feature concave, convex, or angled surfaces, resembling a jackhammered texture. This face is typically positioned at the back of the wall.

Boulder Stone is not responsible for these natural variations as sandstone is directly mined from the earth. Transport services are provided by subcontractors, and once a truck is directed to enter private property, the customer or landowner assumes responsibility for any recovery costs, downtime, or potential damages. All reasonable care is taken by the client during the process.
